Ruellia has a 12in high to 24in in diameter mound of soft green, semi-fuzzy foliage. Out of this foliage comes lovely red blooms loved by butterflies and hummingbirds.

Plant in moist, well draining soil in an area that gets full to partial sun.

Average water consumer, try to not let it dry out in the hottest times of the year.
