Phlox
Phlox are small, compact plants that grow between six and eighteen inches tall. However the plants produce large, showy clusters of flowers at the top of the stems. The flowers come in a variety of bright colors such as red, purple, yellow and white. The plants do well in containers and landscapes.
Planting
They do best in an area that gets full sun in a good draining soil.
Care
Once the plants are established the phlox will do well in moist to slightly dry soil. During the driest parts of the year, water twice a week.
